Case Study: Strategic Business Planning​

Situation:

With streaming wars in full swing, our client is a well-established provider of global IPTV and OTT solutions platforms. Where they had previously dominated the lower end of the market, increased competition and improved products and technology led them to ask if they should move up-market.​

Solution:

Starting with a market audit, we were able to confirm white space for mid-to-high tier IPTV/OTT offerings. We further identified differentiators for the client, and compared to other, more established competitors. ​

​Finally, we led a marketing strategy session where we determined a multi-pronged approach that included increasing awareness, new messaging, and tactical marketing activities to help them gain traction. Specifically, we addressed their existing lead-generation strategy, which had been producing a high volume of low-quality leads.​

Results:

This new approach led to a significant upgrade in their tradeshow presence as well as an increase in PR efforts and a new lead generation program. The company immediately saw an upgrade in perception and an increase in high-quality opportunities, cementing their shift into a higher weight class of software solution providers.
